Are Muscle Supplements Such As Protein Shake Or Whey Necessary?

I have seen from the website body building they sell supplements of nutrition such as protein. fat burn and stuff? is it "good" to take it? will it has any effect toward my body? I want to be like a model (underwear model) they have like nice muscles . so not sure whether should take it or not..17 years old now

They are not necessary if you want a fit physique. You may need them if you are injecting steroids and trying to get a massively overdeveloped physique. Meat is just as good as protein supplements and it costs less.

The biggest complaint is that protein supplements make you bloated. Not something you want if you are trying to be a model.

    Alright, first of all, good luck if you want to do that.

    More importantly, it takes a lot of work to get that good of a body but the work is fun. Protein shakes are good for you and can't hurt you if you just drink one or two a day. Buy from a GNC or pharmacy instead of online though. Figuring out a good weighlifting and cardio program coupled with a healthy eating habit will getcha looking good. Try this to start off.

    Buy some dumbells, you're gonna get stronger so get some that you can only curl five or six times.

    Do this twice every night to see if you like workin out a lot.
    1. Do as many pushups as you can
    2. Do as many curls as you can
    3. Do as many bench dips as you can.
    4. Do as many lunges as possible.

    If you do those four things twice a night in a month or two you may not be an underwear model but you'll notice a difference in your body.
