Body Building For Sprinters Is It Different?
Written by admin on January 27, 2009I have heard that sprinters do not build muscle the same way as body builders. Does anyone know how they build their muscle and what way?

Sprinters do weight lifting in 3 parts
For Maximum strength,developed with weight training,specific to the type of strength required,and the particular demands of the event using Olympic Lifts and exercises of a general nature e.g Leg Curls ,Leg Extension, Shoulder Press ,Chest Press,Lower Back Extensions
2.Elastic strength-developed with conditioning exercises,complex training sessions,medicine ball exercises
and plyometric exercises
and
3.Strength endurance be developed with circuit training,
dumbbell exercises ,weight training,hill and harness running
