Does Body Building Have Any Effect On Once Vertical Growth?
Written by admin on April 28, 2009I was just wondering cuz i am 19 and ma friends are discouraging me from doing body building. They claim it will have an effect on how tall i am going to be, so they want me to wait until i am 21 when i would have presumably stopped growing.
Vertical growth continues at a genetically determined rate until the growth plates at the ends of the long bones of the body fuse shut. Malnutrition can limit growth, but body-building exercises cannot.

No! It's a myth-trust me. Also, you will have stopped growing at about age 18. However, saying that, i believe that it is fine to do bodybuilding 18+, because any younger than that, and you are much less likely to get injured as your bones are still developing etc
but it does nothing to your height…

A few things that help…
I was 5’7 at 23. now I am turning 24 in a month and I am 6'0. I grew the most during last summer because I actually started using super-growth height enhancer 6 month course.
the following helped me and still help:
1) Drinking at least 2 big glasses of milk a day.
2.) playing basketball and going swimming. Basketball really helps, and you should also work out your calves and thigh muscles, that helps too.
3)Eat alot, because when I started to get taller I didn’t gain a pound but I looked skinnier.
4) http://www.super-growth.com this is another natural solution to grow taller and quicker
