Meet Your Body Building Goals!
Written by admin on October 8, 2009
Body building is the process of maximizing muscle hypertrophy. In competitive body building they display their physiques to a panel of judges who assign points based on their appearance. It's all about the muscles. Muscles are revealed using a combination of weight training, oils, tanning, and lighting. Weight training is used and designed to change the physical appearance to make muscles stronger and larger.
Not only body building a competitive sport but it also is a lifestyle for some people. A lifestyle that revolves around weight training, cardiovascular exercises, nutrition, and reducing fat on the body. It takes years of strict training, almost obsessive amounts of training, and carefully planned work outs and diets to accomplish a competitive body builder's physique.
Setting realistic and measurable goals and approaching them with the proper mind set is the first step at body building. Setting them high is good but make sure that they are still at a reachable level. Make sure that you know how much fat you are able to lose in a week before you set a goal. Do a test week of your plan to see what you lose then set your goal to that amount or little higher.
Without a goal you will have no sense of direction to keep you on track. It is very important to make sure that you have a goal for that reason. In order to have success in a body building program you will have to clearly define your goal.
Setting a goal will not do you any good if you do not have a good body building program. This is part of clearly defining your goal. You could have to goal but you're not going to reach it if you do not set a program to keep you on track. Most people make the mistake of setting a program that is too advanced for them. If you do this you will wind up giving up on your program.
Another problem with making a body building program is people just set days to go to the gym and workout with out a set training plan of what exercises are going to be done.
A too advanced program will cause injury or failure and going to the gym working on whatever machine is open or looks cool will not give the results you are looking for.
Diet is going to be very important in body building as well and needs to be set in your training program. Without the proper diet you will not lose fat and gain muscle. This nutrition will give you recovery, energy, and growth. A diet high in protein and low in fat will be the best diet. Do some research to find a diet that is going to work best for you.
Taking a supplement for body building will be good for you as well. But do not expect that taking a supplement is going to do all the work for you or make up for improper training. It will not make up for a poor diet either. They will only work for you if your diet is good and following through with a good training program. Alternative Health Supplements offers a number of supplements for body builders.
Getting enough sleep is very important as well. Muscles do not grow when you work them out; they grow when you are sleeping. 7 to 8 hours of sleep a night will keep you healthy and give you the energy you need to keep at your goal.

As a member of the Body of Christ, when you consider this phrase what are your considerations before the Lord?
~The Body builds itself up in love~
When we come to this forum, as believers, we are in different places physically and at different levels of growth and maturity spiritually. Do we see that the building up of the Body of Christ should be our goal when we meet here on the forum, especially as it relates to other members in the Body?
What are your realizations when you consider your brothers and sisters here on the forum? Do you see them as part of the Body of Christ in the way you handle them or handle the word that you give as your portion to build them up?
I ask this because over the past little while this matter of the many members of the Body of Christ has really impressed me so much. The Lord seems to be rising up in me and so many of the other sisters and brothers to cherish one another and care for the each other’s growth and going on in the Lord. How connected do you feel to those that are in Christ?
Ty for sharing.

Motives. This is one which cannot be faked, at least not for long, and I like that. You can get an idea who might be. I have grown closer to certain ones I have met through R&S, and it has opened me to know people which I would have had to wait until eternity to get to know.
When I go to answer a question, my guiding is that the truth should be spoken from the love. There have been a few times when I get the better of me, I confess that. Not often. But it has happened.

There is an instant bond, because we are already One in Christ.
There is a place, where spirits blend
Where friend holds fellowship with friend
Tho’ sundered far, by faith they meet
Around one common mercy seat!

This sentence by itself builds love….
The body builds itself up in love….how exquisitely beautiful…
I love this sentence as it produces a thought provoking growth for believers in Christ. It knits us together in a bond so close. One of the most wonderful, cherished thoughts is that the world will know us by our love.
Consider this definition of church:
A loose-knit network of Jesus followers who gather together to encourage each other in their spiritual life and who go out, moved by the Holy Spirit, sharing and demonstrating the Gospel.
Loose-knit. Not formal membership, just a love-commitment to God and each other.
Knowing deeply in your heart that you have been touched or you are touching someone’s spirit through the power of the Holy Spirit is a celebration. Seeing unity being built in God. Seeing growth in someone increasing in knowledge. Watching the dance before the Lord as we all begin to worship Him together in perfect and fluid movement. Seeing the timid person opening up more. Witnessing the transformation of those who don’t believe in God getting curious and being thoughtful in their replies is rewarding as it proves that something marvelous is happening! Seeing a cold heart begin to thaw is awesome and encouraging… planting a seed for God…seeing someone else do the watering and knowing that the Holy Spirit is behind this…creating a heart of flesh, all of this thrills me to peices!!
The fellowship amoung us here is growing in love as we allow ourselves to unveil our hearts to one another. Being able to say…"Hey, I’m hurtin’ and having that brother or sister tenderly feeling your pain and wanting to help. Experiencing the rythymn and heartbeat of God. Knowing that a harvest will result as the body finds and discovers its’ many gifts and ministries, defining itself in a harmonious conjunction of souls. The realiztion that you may have a distinct gift in building the body of Christ whether it be planting the seed, or your brother/sister doing such a good job of watering the same seed. The sunny person who arrives next who excels in showering all with gifts of kindness showing the special warmth of God that is a supernatural warmth. The person who has merriness and joy. Laughter, that causes all to feel joy. It’s so great to be in the stands as a cheerleader, cheering this growth on and praising the Lord then seeing it seed flourish and expand in others. Confessing our needs and weaknesses then being ministered by those of whom God has entrusted us to. See those who have words of wisdom and soundness of mind bringing the peace and security that sound doctrine gives. Our teachers who lead, those who can discern rightly into the hearts. I see evidence of this.
What has started in baby steps is now walking and soon will be running as growth and unity happens. I see a change here as levels of commitment to the Lord and each other begin to flourish. It’s as though the spirit is drawing us together, whether it be through a deleted question, a loving thought ,an encuraging email message saying thanksor sorry. Or just "Hey!".
These are some of the things I see happening! One Spirit, One Body, One Lord! Seeing myself and others rejoicing over new discoveries in word of God, which were somehow foreign to us. Connecting to the other living stones, finding our place in the house of God. Being able to shout to the Lord…I was so blind …but the scales in my eyes and heart are being removed!!!
God bless this team who is starting to take shape!

Yeppir, I do consider that I am speaking as a part of the One Body. And this Q describes so well that this is what will result in ‘transformed in the twinkling of the eye’ when we do realize that we are One Body and what one of us does has a direct effect upon us all, not just in a reflective sort of way, but an indirectly or unseen direct sort of way.
Sometimes I ‘feel’ my connection to all God’s children quite clearly, (sort of physically in a way like how one feels the soft touch of the wind when it gently passes over the skin of an arm or face or neck – or also like how one feels when slamming a pinkie toe into something very hard or a finger caught in a closing door – it’s either an energetic yummy feeling or an energetic ouchy feeling) and sometimes the feeling for me is distant (like the ends of my hair, or my toenails or teeth – when all’s well they’re there not really ‘noticable’ unless I concentrate really hard). But I have an ‘awareness’ that is beyond a ‘feeling’ that I’m walking this individual walk WITH others and not alone. And that, wherever two or more of us are gathered there He is in the midst of us – Thank You LordGod!!
My realizations when I consider this forum are that there are so many wonderful folks who really are invested in uplifting, supporting, encouraging each other and provide a welcoming space for others to come and check ‘things’ out, there is a wealth of knowledge and sharing made available across a broad spectrum that is not so evident in local communities as they are narrower in scope and less in number and not as varied as the broad spectrum this forum attracts. That’s not putting anything down, it’s merely my observation. Another observation is that while there are the occasional ‘glitches’ (well, I’m just calling trolling a ‘glitch’) there is far more room for people to ask and be answered on information they might not be so willing to investigate were they in their physical ‘peer’ group which might be a tad more judgmental than on this forum.
So thanks so much for the reminder that, as believers, we have a sacred trust – to think on those things which are good and pleasing, to love God first with our entirety, and then to go love ourselves and everyone else the same, and to hold in prayer with one another – seeing each other as equal in God’s sight and love, even if we disagree semantically, to avoid judging them, and to remove the ‘log or beam’ that may be obstructing our vision, before we go removing someone elses’ ‘speck’, that we be SLOW to anger, and QUICK to get over it and always and forever be compassionately forgiving.
Thanks so much for the Q

Very good question, and put eloquently ! Some just don’t have that gift…
Some have a lack of the knowledge of the Word, but, they still try…
Those that have an extensive knowledge of the Word seem to come to an answer that is short and to the point, because of so much trash that is in this area…and they are getting "worn out"…
Remember this : We are in the last days, and the hearts of MANY are growing cold…
One thing to always consider : Yes, we are at different levels, BUT, the Word of God is Spirit, and spiritually discerned ! Some has a very DIRECT approach to this area, because there is a much greater influence guiding the answer…and some has an heart towards God, but not according to knowledge of His Word.
The FACT is this : YOU , have a position to fulfil ! Your eyes are being opened ! There is a "gathering" within you, that is meant for YOUR good, and for the body of Christ… which is leading into the connection of a circuit of believers for these last days…
Peace and love…

I feel very connected. Several of my contacts profess the name of Christ, and I definitely feel a certain bond with them, and I always try to answer their questions with a straight-forward biblical approach. They answer my questions in the same fashion; I appreciate that. Although I am more a logical person than a touchy-feely one, I certainly do have a love for any person who endeavors to serve the Lord and I encourage all such believers to be an excellent witness for the Lord Jesus Christ.
