I ain`t no supplement ho and I actually don`t recommend using any supplements on a regular basis besides protein powder, fish and in the winter time Vitamin D3. But there are certain scenarios where other supplements can help you out...if you use them right. I`m going to outline today my thoughts on creatine, the most popular muscle building supplement out there.

Creatine for increased work capacity
Creatine is one of the most misunderstood supplements to take. Its not a steroid. Creatine is found naturally in your body. Real creatine does increase your work capacity, and can assist in gaining more strength and lean muscle mass over time. It ain't no wonder supplement and is actually found naturally in things like beef. The bottom line is if you don't have your regular eating in order and training regularly, it ain't going to make you grow a third arm, I'd only recommend it to intermediate lifters.

For those lifters, the key is creatine monohydrate for somewhere reputable like a micronized German creatine. I would recommend 3-5 grams post-workout.

Now those with liver problems, gut problems or any other medicial problems should stay away from creatine.

Should YOU use creatine? If you are training consistently, seeing results, and already have a solid foundation. Do I currently supplement with creatine? No and thats because my nutrition is DIALED in.

Remember you can't supplement a training routine and poor diet with a wonder supplement. And see the article in the description for more info. Besides my favourite white powder is cocaine. Seriously.

Here is a great article with more info

Body Building Exercices That Work!

Written by Christine on July 28, 2011 – 10:37 pm -

Are you at the local gym every night trying to get in shape? Hey, I certainly know what you're going through. Although I have never struggled with weight per se, I certainly took up a body building workout in order to get buff.

It's quite different when you're a guy I must say. While girls are always struggling to stay thin and avoid cellulite, men are trying their best to look like men. This means muscles. No woman wants a guy with the same size bicep as hers. So think about this ladies. The next time you dread having to workout to stay fit, just remember that men have to keep the fat off and pack the muscles on. It's twice the work if you didn't already notice. I hope all you men know a great body building workout.

Are you striving to get stacked? I'm talking about stacks of muscles, not stacks of cash. Well, the first thing you need is a good body building workout. A decent weight training regime is the key to getting those full pecs you've always wanted. However, there is more to getting buff, than just a body building workout. You also have to eat to get swollen and stay that way. This is something I learned from a bodybuilder buddy of mine. He told me if I was looking to pack on the muscles, I'd better be ready to fork out the dough for the right food. Yes indeed, it's expensive to stay muscular. I'm talking about increasing your meals to maybe five meals a day, instead of the standard three. Of course this means healthy meals. Not a bunch of fast food and sweets. Furthermore, you'll seriously want to increase your servings of protein. I have to say I was flabbergasted the first time my buddy informed me that he scarfed down six cans of tuna each day on top of his regular meals. That's a whole lot of chicken of the sea. Not that you also have to gorge on tuna. There are a variety of protein bars on the market these days. A few a day, in addition to your body building workout should really make a difference in your physique.

If you are looking high and low for a decent body building workout, you can always turn to the World-Wide-Web for answers and solutions. Take a gander at infinite fitness routines online for free. You'll surely find that body building workout you've been searching for. All it takes is a little effort. Happy lifting!

Written by Christine on June 5, 2011 – 11:36 pm -

Most body builders concentrate more to buildup their upper body, but is also considered being essential. Leg muscle is most important to support your upper body; it can also be said as the basement of your whole body.

So building up both the upper body and legs are essential factors that has to be considered when you are doing body building workouts.

There are several workouts to buildup your leg muscles. The 3 main muscles in your legs are quadriceps, hamstrings and calves. Exercise like squats are great for building strong and powerful legs.

Placing a weight on a barbell and squatting down with the weight rested on your neck. This is the best technique for you to increase your leg muscle strength.

There are some other exercises for your quadriceps like leg press, leg extensions, dumbbell lunges and dumbbell squat.

The second thing is hamstrings; here also you can find three main methods. Firstly, you can workout with the leg curl machine by lying leg curls your face down on a leg curl machine and lift weight up.

The other two workouts are stiff legged dead lifts and dumbbell stiff legged dead lifts.

The last and third leg muscle group is calves which should also be included with your body building workouts. You can buildup your calves muscle by doing various workouts, that will give you the leaping abilities.

The well known workout for calves are standing calf raises, seated calf raises, leg press calf extensions and standing one legged calf raises. The simple and easiest workout is by standing on your toes and raising yourself with the help of calves muscle.

By applying these exercises in your regular workout will help you build strong legs. You can work your quadriceps into your bicep, triceps and shoulder workout day and place your calves and hamstrings with your back and chest workout day.

These are all the best exercises to build strong legs that have to be considered with your body building workouts.
