Do You Have The Right Body Building Supplies?
Written by Christine on July 18, 2011 – 2:35 am -Like most things in life, you need the right tool for the right job. If you want a better body, you'll need the right body building supplies to make it happen. Here are the essentials.
During your workout, you'll want to be both safe and comfortable. For instance, to protect your lower back, get a weight lifting belt. This supports your lower lumbar region from injury as you handle excessive weight.
You also want to add to your bag of supplies a pair or two of weight lifting gloves. This will help you avoid uncomfortable blisters and cuts from the textured bars and weight plates you'll be handling. Fewer blisters = more gym time.
Another in the roster of supplies is the i-Pod, or any MP3 player you may have. Get yourself some heart-pumping beats to focus on what you're there for. It will also boost your testosterone output if you play the right music, which helps build muscle by the way.
The protein shake is a classic element in the body building supplies because your body needs it to grow muscle. You don't want your hard-earned work to go to naught, to gain muscle only to have your body break it down for energy. Take a protein shake after you work out spiked with a simple sugar for the best kick-start in recovery.
Finally - you need lots and lots of water. Proper hydration ensures your body has all it needs for the processes going on in building muscle mass. It also will prevent cramps in your muscles, due to dehydration. That's the last thing you need.
There's tons of body building supplies to choose from. Make sure you have at least these basics down to keep building muscle safely and intensely, and you're on your way to the new and improved you.

How To Succeed In Muscle Building
Written by ama on December 27, 2010 – 7:47 pm -If you want to put together an effective body building workout, you've got to prepare yourself with the right mix of cardiovascular exercise and proper resistance training. Everyone is unique, but basically speaking, general body development includes not just building muscle mass, but improving condition and total fitness and becoming stronger too. Most importantly, you've got to know your body and know your limits if you're searching for that perfect exercise regimen.
Begin your body building workout plan with your end result in mind. One great way to realize your ultimate goals in terms of which fitness plan you want to enact is to visualize your ultimate goals. A successful body building workout is as dependent on the mind as it is the muscle, and putting yourself in the right mindset can be critical to your long-term success. In order to attain your goal, visualize your results like an artist does, before he even applies a brush to the canvas! muscle building diet
What really determines whether your muscle-building program will succeed or fail is how consistent you are. Plan your exercise schedule in such a way that you limit the chance that your routine will get sidetracked or interrupted, or that you'll end up missing workout days due to factors outside the gym. When it comes to working out, stay consistent and focused on the days, times and amount that you do.
Most body builders choose a workout routine that offers training 4 or 5 times weekly. This allows you the opportunity to train on a schedule that provides for maximum gains, but still allows for sufficient rest and recovery. While you may be enthusiastic about your body building workout and want to develop a real "gym rat" approach, you first must understand that over-working your body won't lead to bigger gains. Truthfully, working too hard and not enough recovery time usually causes setbacks instead of progress.
Once you get to the gym and launch your body building workout, you may want to consider some simple guidelines for success. Beginning each session with stretching and cardio exercises aimed at increasing your heart rate is great, but make certain you target your heart healthy zone! Prior to engaging in strength training / muscle building exercise is important that you do not reduce your glycolytic capacity by overexerting yourself in the cardiovascular pathway.
Do some stretching and some cardio workout, and then spend at least a half hour, but no more than 45 minutes, on your core routine. Injury can come from working too hard, so be careful not to pass your limits. Your routine should include a workout of three individual sets with no more than about a dozen reps per set. A solid exercise plan pushes your muscles to the limit of fatigue without crossing the line into injury. And make certain that you allow yourself about two minutes of rest between sets in order for your muscles to recover.
As always, before you embark on a body building workout schedule, consult your doctor or trainer.

What Is The Best Muscle Building Supplement? (already Taking P90x Recovery Formula)?
Written by admin on December 10, 2010 – 1:18 pm -Im about to start the p90x Recovery Formula Drink which is great for improving recovery (like the name states lol) but i want to add a supplement on top of that that helps with actually building muscle mass. What is teh best supplement to help me build muscle mass that i can layer on top of the recovery formula?
To be totally honest, food is the best muscle building supplement there is. Make sure youre taking in enough quality calories and protein. Taking all kinds of supplements wont make you get stronger. Really the only supplement i would recommend is a basic whey protein shake. Dont fall into the supplement trap. Most are over priced garbage.

Why Diet And Strength Training Play Equal Roles In Building Muscle
Written by ama on May 24, 2009 – 4:48 pm -If you want to build muscle mass and get bulging biceps, don’t make the mistake of thinking that simply hitting the gym a few times will return significant results. Because let me tell you it won’t!
There is much more to building muscle than just hitting the gym a few times. To really build significant muscle mass, you must have the right weight training program and the correct body building diet. Combine these two crucial elements together well, and you will see some excellent muscle gains in just a few weeks.
You see, it's all about how hard you train and how well you eat.
Now, lets discuss the role of diet to begin with. Eating regular fast food meals is not an option. If you want to build muscle quick , you'll need to start and stick to a body building diet that includes a lot of protein, vitamins and minerals, but hardly any fat, sugar, and salt.
Remember, you really are what you eat. Eat healthy and you will look healthy, eat junk and you’ll have to learn to love your belly fat!
Click on this link for more detailed information on what your strength training diet should have in it.
Now to your bodybuilding workout itself. Your program should only target each muscle once, maybe twice a week. A lot of amateurs looking to build muscle don’t get the results they would like because they simply over train their muscles. Don't go and make the same errors. You see when you lift weights, you damage your muscle fibers. When they repair themselves naturally they grow back bigger and stronger. If you keep breaking them down they don’t get a chance to repair the fibers or to grow.
So don’t over train! When you do lift, lift heavy. The more you over load your muscles, the more your break dowmn the fibers and therefore when the repair, they are stimulated to grow back much bigger. It goes without saying, when lifting heavy, be careful not to go too heavy and injure yourself. But here is the key, you are better of lifting close to your maximum a few times, than you are lift less over more sets and reps. Heavy weight is the key to maximum muscle growth!
