Gain Pounds Of Muscle
Written by ama on November 11, 2010 – 4:59 pm -
You may ask the question: "I want to gain pounds of muscle but how do I do it?". Well in order to gain "pounds of muscle” you need to do a few things. Later on, I’ll explain more regarding this.
Just remember that in order to gain pounds of muscle you really need to develop a mindset of success first. Having a mindset that is focused and determined and can see the outcome before it is real will help you reach your goals faster than you ever thought possible.
Before anything else, ask yourself: just how muscular do I want to be? Don’t do it if you’re insecure because guess what, you’re still going to be insecure and have low self esteem whether or not you gain pounds of muscle and look like a ripped bodybuilder. At first you might question what I say but believe me that this is true. True self worth comes from within, no matter what you look like.
Whether you’re into sports or muscle is necessary for your job, you will have to first think about exactly how much muscle you want. It takes strength to become strong. Discipline is an important factor you will need to get through. Ideally, you should be able to pinpoint exactly what you want and how you will go about getting them.
Make sure that you stick to your program everyday with a determination that would make you sweat, you should do this four times every week. You should realize that you can only go so far as your last workout. Translation: don’t cheat and don’t go light with the weights. Workout each body part with 3 different machines. For me personally, two body parts per workout is the target I usually aim for. Basically, that adds up to a total of 6 different exercises. When you think about it, that could mean 3 back exercises coupled with another three for the chest.
By the way, if you really want the best workout program that will work for your body type, I really think you should checkout this Muscle Gaining Secrets Review.
Basically, you should be using heavy weights but doing a small amount of reps. Your aim would be around 4 to 6 reps. If you find the last rep hard to do, then that’s the exact result you want. On the last rep, you should find yourself struggling just to finish it off.
Now get up up and pay a little visit to the gym!
Tips To Get A More Muscular Body

After having read this article, you’ll be able to learn how to gain muscles fast. If you really want to gain muscles, then prepare yourself for an extraordinary amount of hard work. There are different ways you can make mistakes during training so really pay attention so that you don't make these same errors.
I'd really like to get into how to gain muscle. This is really what you're after isn't it?
Let’s be honest though everybody wants to gain muscle and lose weight right? What female doesn’t want a slender and sexy body? Every guy dreams of broad shoulders and huge biceps right? We all want these things but are we willing to put in a little dedication to get them? The truth is that the dedication you need for this isn’t as much as some people may want you to think. Once you get used to the workout routine, you might even view the exercises as a type of stress reliever or something you actually enjoy. So start small and keep the commitment going. That’s the key to gaining muscles.
So back to the mistakes people make when working out in the gym. Many people don’t dedicate themselves to a routine. There are those who frequently skip days, often telling themselves that missing one day doesn’t count that much. When you’re first starting out, just developing the discipline and dedication to get to the gym is actually more important than what you do when you are there. Discipline must be the first thing you develop.
Save the other problems for later. Another mistake I often see is the lack of a definite plan when in the gym. You might often find these individuals who seem to pick machines at random, lacking a proper workout plan to follow. It’s like a deer caught in headlights with no idea where to go next. They wander from machine to machine with no plan. Don’t let this happen to you. Remember, you came here to build your muscles and you can’t do that without a plan!
As an aside, if you're like me and you want the best workout program that can be tailored to meet your specific body type, you may want to checkout my No Nonsense Muscle Building Review.
The secret to building your muscles is the amount of weight you do. You should target specific body parts and work them out twice a week to the point of exhaustion. The technique here is to use heavy weights and doing low reps. The “burning” sensation you get is a good way to know if your workout is going to give you resutls. You might also mix up your workout routine every 3 weeks so you can see what works best for you. Those are basically the two tips you need to remember in order for you to really build stronger and bigger muscles.
Monday: Chest and Back
Tuesday: Arms and Shoulders
Wednesday: Legs and Abs
Thursday: Chest and Back
Friday: Arms and Shoulders
Saturday: Legs and Stomach
Here are some exercises you can do but again you'll want to develop a specific routine that works best for you.
Chest: Bench Press, Free Weight Bench Press, Butterfly's, Push Ups, Incline Bench, Decline Bench
Back: Seated Rows, Pull Ups, Bent Over Rows, Back Fly's, Roman Chair
Shoulders: Shoulder Fly's, Shoulder Press, Straight Arm Fly's
Arms: Bicep Curls, Reverse Grip Curls, Bent Over Curls
Legs: Leg Press, Squats, Leg Curls
Abs/Stomach: Side Twists, Side Bends, Incline Situps
The Best Muscle Building Diet
Written by ama on July 27, 2009 – 9:35 am -When you are trying to find the best way to build muscle there are many things you need to be aware of beyond what they may be telling you in all those muscle magazines. First and foremost, you will never get the same sustainable muscle nutrition from any supplement as you will get from the foods rich in them. Food has a complex structure of nutrients and vitamins that actually include a delivery system. When you eat muscle building foods the body can integrate the components in certain foods very efficiently and effectively. These components assist in the body's ability to repair muscle tissue and to facilitate the healing process (including the pain you feel after a good workout).
When you take supplements you may get the nutrients but without the delivery system you may not actually be putting all of them into your body and thus your being short changed in what your body will actually be able to use! When you eat muscle building foods your muscles repair faster following a workout and you can therefore workout more frequently for quicker results. The means growing your muscle mass quicker. You are also not going to put your stomach through the torture of trying to dissolve the pills or other things that come in them to hold them together prior to taking them.
Many of the supplement pills have preservatives in them which is bad for your body. Why in the world would you take a supplement and risk not getting enough nutrients to repair your muscle tissue, when you could easily find muscle building foods (and even cheaper than the powders and supplements to boot!), just as easily and know that you will get ALL of those nutrients?
The bottom line is that a good muscle building diet is good for you, and work with your body to heal the damage/scaring that creates big muscles following your gym workouts . Healing and scaring of the muscle is what makes it bigger and stronger, so if the body is void of the building blocks it needs this process may not be as efficient and thus you could actually cause injury. You can prepare some great tasting muscle building dishes yourself for a fraction of the cost of supplements, that will contain a lot of additional beneficial vitamins not found in supplements.
Building Muscle The Quick Way
Written by ama on June 9, 2009 – 11:11 am -When it comes to the best way to build muscle fast there are some things you really need to know about that will help you to build your muscle mass successfully. Many people depend on the things they read in the muscle magazines or think that the best way to build muscle fast is to take special supplements. The truth is there is a better more effective way to do it that doesn't require you to take expensive supplements, in fact it is very logical, but since it doesn't sell supplements you won't find it in any muscle magazine!
First you need to put on some weight so your body has something to convert. Food contains nutrition which is the building blocks the body uses to create muscle. The body can't create something from nothing so food is essential. You will put on some fat when you start eating more but the extra muscle gains will far outweigh the small increase in fat. You can also start burning your fat away in your gym workouts . You will need to take in more calories than you burn on a normal basis so your body isn't using your "default" supply of nutrients to do this. This will ensure you remain energetic and strong as your body will not be competing to grow muscle and you will keep your balanced health.
Eating the right fat burning food is essential. You can't pack on the weight with just any food, in fact a lot of food will become counter productive since the body will have to work harder to break it up and most food with preservatives clogs up the body causing a long list of problems that fight against your ability to build muscle, let alone your ability to build muscle fast!
You need to cut out sugars, junk food, soda, caffeine, energy drinks, and diet pills just to name a few. A healthy body is high in nutrition. Most processed and junk foods contain very little if any nutrients because they are often processed out of the food as well as being full of preservatives. The correct foods will provide the right foundations for you to build your muscle mass quickly!
